Traveling internationally is a life-changing experience that everybody should experience at some point in their lives. Embarking on any such excursion takes months of preparation, including tasks such as booking hotels, plane tickets and collecting all of your necessary travel paperwork. Yet, what may get overlooked is making sure that you’re healthy enough to travel overseas.

Prior to traveling to a foreign country, it’s important to research different vaccines that are recommended before going to the country you’re visiting. The Center for Disease Control and Prevention recommends a variety of vaccines depending on the country, with the most common recommended vaccine being the yellow fever vaccine. Receiving a yellow fever vaccine is highly recommended before visiting South American or Sub-Saharan African countries.

We administer many travel vaccines on a walk-in basis. We also provide prescriptions for travel medicine, including antimalarials and antidiarrheals.
