Mental health therapy or counseling allows patients to uncover life concerns and make the next steps toward improving health, well-being, and/or professional and social performance.
At Synergy Immediate Care, our mental health therapist, Denise Murdock, works with patients over the age of 16 who are experiencing mental health crises, and assists with the management of mental health issues.
Denise Murdock is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 25 years of experience in the mental health field. Denise favors a practical approach to psychotherapy, with cognitive behavioral techniques and a compassionate, client-centered session. She believes that identifying and building on client’s strengths and resources, challenging clients to see beyond negative self-images and to incorporate new positive thought patterns, lead to better fit for clients in their environments, help to alleviate depression and anxiety, and increase confidence and self-esteem.
